Political Postcards.

With a creative background in fine arts, I was able to kick-start my digital design education & career by creating these postcard illustrations in Adobe Illustrator.

Illustrations, visual design, and basic design principles such as hierarchy, color theory, and balance are all things that I continue to take with me as I progress through my career.

Overview

These illustrations are a call to action for change and demonstrate the alarming effects of global warming. The use of bright colors makes the posters themselves approachable to any audience; however, upon closer look, the overall message is stark.

My role

My role for this project was to transform my hand drawn sketches into highly detailed illustrations using Adobe Illustrator.

Impact

The impact of these illustrations is meant to spark an interest. The imagery tells a story, reminds people of what’s happening to our planet, and creates an opportunity to start a conversation or take action and make a difference.
